It's been a big first week of our trial in the Supreme Court! Week one included opening submissions, the WOTCH president’s evidence and the Central Highlands court view.
Today Richard Knowles QC, counsel for WOTCH, delivered our opening submissions. He outlined the extent and devastating impact of the Black Summer fires on the four key threatened species in our case, after they had already endured dramatic declines prior to the bushfires.
