Greater Glider and Hollow Bearing Tree Report – 298-516-0001 'Glenview'
VicForests scheduled logging coupe 298-516-0001 was investigated to assess the presence/absence of Greater Gliders within State Forest scheduled for logging.
This report records the presence of Greater Gliders (Petauroides volans) and Hollow Bearing Trees observed within the above area.
A number of Greater Gliders were identified on the survey nights. The following report concludes that VicForests, within coupe 298-516-0001 has scheduled logging in an area of forest currently inhabited by the Flora and Fauna Guarantee listed Greater Glider.
